The Opportunity - Business Development

AlphaGRC, a rapidly growing, specialized consultancy with headquarters in Grand Praire, Texas, is seeking individuals interested in entering the professional services consulting field in a sales /business development capacity. Candidates must be able to aggressively prospect, develop relationships with new customers, and follow-up on sales leads. The successful candidate will qualify accounts to assist in the increase of pipeline opportunities through a combination of cold calling and warm response management and prospecting activities. The representative can be based in any major city in the US - such as; Dallas, Boston, New York, Atlanta, Miami, San Francisco, Chicago, Denver and Phoneix. Candidates with a strong local network will be given priority. This individual must have an aggressive "hunter" mindset and the person in this role will identify and qualify opportunities, and set meetings for Directors.

Principal Responsibilities & Job Tasks

  • Make outbound calls to prospect, qualify and convert new business in an effort to aid our Managing Directors.
  • Make a set minimum of outbound calls per day to enhance lead generation
  • Meet quota for monthly appointment setting goals
  • Prospect and profile potential accounts via telephone and email
  • Utilize phone, email and web tools to effectively communicate our firm's services
  • Maintain customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate data
  • Understand AlphaGRC 's wide ranging services as a business & technology risk management consulting firm

  • Experience & Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and business relationship development skills required
  • The ability to articulate & interact effectively with a high degree of confidence to C-level executives (CFO, CIO, Internal Audit Director, Chief Security Officer, IT Director)
  • Ability to complete a full sales cycle including open & close process
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree a plus but not a necessity
  • 3-5 years of previous inside sales experience preferred, preferably in the IT Information Security industry.
  • Accounting, Audit IT, and Consulting Sales background
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills via phone and email
  • Strong ability to actively listen and determine prospect's needs
  • Understand how to deliver a compelling message to a business executive and leverage interest into an opportunity
  • Motivated, self-starter, goal-oriented, ability to multi-task, with high sense of urgency
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once (flexible and self-sufficient)
  • Team player who works well across departments
